motor cycle: GIANT

In Japan at the beginning of thirties several companies started to produce freight tricycles. As contrasted with tricycles of «Harley-Davidson», which were made on the basis of motorcycles, Japanese tricycles were completely constructed as trucks for conveyance of people and load. The tricycle’s constructions of different manufacturers generally differed with engines. The tricycles «KUROGANE» had V-shaped overhead valve engine with volumetric capability 1400 cc, and the tricycles «GIANT» had single-cylindered, overhead valve engine with volumetric capability 650 cc and with chain gearing on transmission gear case.
